Rebound Basketball Academy Camp - 127-0231

Camps emphasize basketball skills through fun activities as well of games or scrimmages at the end of each day. The camp focus in developing sports skills and improving self-esteem while teaching the fundamentals of basketball such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. We encourage participation, team work, and fair play in order to learn the basketball principals in offense and defense. Fee includes a Ribbon Reward at the end of the camp. Gary Holloway will give us a tour through this scenic highway that winds across 10 miles of western Sonoma County, through towering redwoods, serene pastures, and rocky ravines. We will then end up in Occidental, where we will enjoy a beautiful Italian lunch at the historic Union Hotel. The beginning Classes are for those with little or no experience. You are taught the basic form, technique, rules, and safety in this exciting unique course. We start with natural shooting technique using recurve bows. Targets are set at a personal distance of up to 10 yards so each student is successful. Depending on the class size, ages, and abilities the fencers are separated into appropriate groups with a low teacher to student ratio. All equipment is supplied so just dress athletically and bring a water bottle.
